Travelling by car

Ulm is situated in the middle of southern Germany. Here Europe’s most important crossroads the A7 and A8 highways meet. The Fair’s ground is situated just within the city limits, very close to the A8. Please use highway exit “Ulm Ost”. Simply follow the 3m blue signposts “Ulmer Messe” or our specific orange TECHNORAMA signs.

Using the Park-and Ride parking lot, you can go on street car No 1, towards “Stadtmitte” stop “Donauhalle”. Now an overview over all Park-and Ride possibilities. Further information for parking spaces you will find on www.tourismus.ulm.de or www.parken-in-ulm.de.

Travelling by train (DB)

Due to its central location, Ulm is perfectly connected to the ICE train network. Leaving the train station, you get on street car No 1, towards “Böfingen” until stop “Donauhalle”. Information concerning your journey by DB or other public transportation can be obtained at the tourist information.

Public transportation Ulm/Neu-Ulm

The street car No 1, towards “Böfingen” runs to the “Ulm Messe” The stop “Donauhalle” is direktly in front of the fair ground. Information from 4/2024 for public transportation:
Dayticket for groups costs 9,90 Euro for 5 people = 1 person pays and 4 more are free
The dayticket for groups is for the whole day and for all the trips in the city region. All tickets bought on saturday are also for the following sunday. The tickets are available in the street car or at the ticket machine.

Low emission Zone

In Ulm and Neu-Ulm, as in other towns and communities, a low emission Zone was set up. The town’s governments thus transpose EU-regulations to improve air cleanliness.

A special arrangement was achieved for the TECHNORAMA. For visitor cars not displaying an environmental sticker, a Park & Ride parking lot was set up. It is the Ebner parking lot, Eberhard-Finck-Str. 61, Ulm. Easy access coming from A8, exit “Ulm Ost” with a direct street car connection to the Fair’s ground within 2 stops (“Donauhalle”).
